Department Profile
The Treasury Office in the Dima Hasao deals with all matters, as the name suggests, pertaining to finance and accounts in the district. This department works under the supervision of the Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Govt. of Assam and under the administrative authority of the Deputy Commissioner in the district. It performs a very important function of being the conduit for fund flow in the district and adhering to the rules in place like the Assam Financial Rules, FR & SR etc. and is headed by a Treasury Officer, who is of the Assam Financial Service cadre, and office administerial staff.
