DDMA Profile
DDMA or District Disaster Management Authority is the statutory nodal agency for dealing with disaster incidents and their fallout in the district as well as for planning and execution of disaster prevention and mitigation activities. It is a constituent body of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority which was created in the year 2007 with the adoption of the Disaster Management Act in 2006 . DDMA Dima Hasao is under the administrative control of the Deputy Commissioner and its office is located within the premises of DC's Office, New Court Building, Haflong.
DDMA Dima Hasao, in consonance with the statutory guidelines enshrined in the Disaster Management Act of 2005, is structured in the following manner:
