The third cabinet meeting of the Assam Government under the leadership of Honourable Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was held on the 19th of January, 2022, in Haflong, Dima Hasao.

The second Zoo in Assam will be established in Silchar.
An amount of Rs. 240 crore will be spent to build the Zoo.
10 Colleges in Assam to have Science and Commerce Department.
Home Quarantine for Government officials will be for one week. The official will have to attend the office from the 8th day.
6 disputed areas on the Assam-Meghalaya border are to be resolved soon.
